Financial Support for Club Marketing & Publicity Initiatives
In 2012, a new program was created to provide financial support to clubs to support marketing and publicity activities in their communities. This program reimburses clubs for 50% of their expenditures on marketing and publicity initiatives to a maximum of 20% of their total paid SAC dues on October 1 of that year.
For example: A SAC club has spent $1,200 on marketing initiatives for the year. The club paid a total of $5,000 in SAC dues. The club would be eligible to receive $1000 in financial support from SAC. SAC would cover 50% of the $1,200 in marketing expenses which would reduce the club's expense to $600.
Claims under this program must be submitted prior to December 31st of the year in which the club’s marketing and publicity expenditures took place. The expenses must be supported by receipts or invoices marked paid.
