The Canadian Soaring Team is selected by the Soaring Association of Canada based on combined results from the best 2 out of 3 previous National Soaring Championships and/or International competitions.

The 2012 World Gliding Championships are being hosted in two locations.

15 Meter, 18 Meter and Open classes in Uvalde, Texas from 28 July  to 19 August 2012.
Standard, Club and  World classes in Adolfo Gonzales Chavez, Argentina from 30 December 2012 to 20 January 2013.

Canada will be represented in the 15 Meter and 18 Meter classes in Uvalde.  See the Biographies page for the ships our pilots will fly and the classes in which they will compete.
